Finnaly full HDTV arrives in West Palm Beach. WHDT Channel 59 began it’s full high def broadcast not too long ago covering all of West Palm Beach county and currently can be seen by anyone subscribing to Adelphia Digital Cable service. The channel that claims to be “the biggest breakthrough in television since the ability to broadcast in color over 40-years ago” has plans to offer a full 24/7 high definition programming soon.

This station is a joke!!! Watched a program called “Adult Content”, can this guy be more right winged. If Bush farted Mr Content could tell him what he had for dinner.

WHDT is OTA in HD. It is an independent which gives it a not canned point of view. Refreshing. Find it on Adelphia 17 listed in the Guide as Channel 44 . It airs its own interesting programs after 5PM M-F.
WHDT runs an up end shopping network all day before 5PM and on weekends calling itself teh Ultimate Shopping Network hawking diamonds and Prada Sunglasses, Fendi Bags and Jewlery – unusual.
Docu/art/news shows from German Broadcaster Deutche Welle In ENGLISH – provide a world view taht isn;t canned. Their shows like EUOMAX are beautifully produced- you can see the difference. For the guys are fishing and car programs Thursdays and Friday Check the Guide on 44.
One eye catching a show is WHDT RUNWAY 17 M-F 5PM featuring news style clips of Haute Couture/fashion/models/photgraphers from around the world including the collections from Paris, Milan etc all set to music with some interesting interviews .RUNWAY 17 airs daily at 5 PM pre-news show. The more scantily clad riske gorgeuous lingerie/swimsuit collections and the models in them as well as behind the scenes at photo shoots happens at 11PM in RUNWAY 23 M-TH. This show is for guys and gals.
11PM Friday is a3 NIGHT LIFE funny, quirky behind the velvet ropes look see into The South Beach Scene, djs mixing music great party going people watching club celebrity scene with some music videos cut in.
