The Miami Herald is reporting that WFOR’s meteorologist Bob Soper has announced he’s retiring and his last day with the station will be July 27th.

    Seems like South Fla is in for many changes in the weather arena……WSVN hasn’t selected chief meterologist yet……WTVJ needs replacement for Roland and now Soper…….should be interesting to see if any station switches for current guys or at least some nice looking new blood.

    even if mets switch stations you won’t see them on the air for a while because they probably all have non-compete clauses in their contract preventing them to work for another station in the same market for a period of several months
