It is officially official - Tom Doerr has been named Vice President and Station Manager for WFOR CBS4 and WBFS 33.
He is coming from the CBS affiliate in Dallas where served as news director for the last 3 years, and before that at WPLG for 5 years.

Someone posted in the comments that ex-WSVN meteorologist 
Tom Johnston is now working at WFTX-FOX4 in Ft Myers as their chief meteorologist. He’s apparently been there since August 2006
Johnston was fired from WSVN last year when he and colleague Jonathan Novak got into an argument over work schedules with Johnston allegedly grabbing or hitting Novak.
