Two tipsters wrote in to say that word is out Shireen Sandoval is leaving WSVN, and the TV biz as a whole. Shireen’s husband is an agent at one of the big TV talent agencies and she’s going with him to New York City
Her last day at WSVN will probably be Thursday or Friday.

I have no respect for Channel 7, and it thrills me when a talent escapes. Shireen is terrific, and I will miss her. I’m guessing network jobs will be waiting for her. Please, Shireen, avoid Fox like the plague! Good luck to you.

Good, let’s talk Nespral. What qualifies her to be a lead anchor? She was a UM Cheerleader, and she has some kids. If I see one more ad with her clutching her handbag while her trolls run around, I’ll hurl. She’s an idiot, and if she’s a bitch, she’s got nothing to strut about. Isn’t it funny how good Segreto is when he co-anchors with Kelly Craig? Some co-anchors raise the level of all around them, and some do the opposite. To that end, Nespral is Sally Fitz with slightly better looks. BTW, the ability to bear children hshould have no bearing on anchor status. Fertility seems to be the only thing Kristi Krueger has going for her too.

Well I’ve met both Nespral and Craig and I got the opposite reaction from them. Nespral seemed cordial while Craig was a TOTAL bitch, as if she had much better things to do than aknowledge us.

Gee, I met Kelly Craig in person and spoke to her on the phone several times over the years, and she’s never been less than wonderful. She stayed at TVJ even when they tried to hose her years ago. She likes it here, and probably could have gone network if she wanted to. I think she’s underutilized and unlike most anchors, gets it when she reads the prompter.
