WB39′s subchannel adds The Tube
Someone emailed to say The Tube TV is now broadcasting on WB’s second subchannel, 39.2. The Tube is a music network much like MTV was in the old days playing music videos all the time. WFLX – FOX29 in Palm Beach County also broadcasts The Tube on their subchannel.

Finally! For weeks 39-2 has been broadcasting a nice, strong signal of nothing with the PSIP showing ‘The Tube’, but finally today it’s actually here.
BTW, the audio is _much_ better on 39-2 than 29-2, at least OTA.

You can over the air with an antenna and digital TV receiver. Otherwise wait for Comcast to maybe, hopefully, eventually add it to the channel line up.

I have an HDTV… which a digital TV receiver, and I connected an antenna to it bout could not pick up 39-2… I’ll just wait for Comcast to add it (if they add it). I’ve never heard of the Tube before and I like MTV Hits… it’s all music videos with no commercials. (Ch 139)

This is my same post again, with less spelling and grammer mistakes lol:

beware of the spelling trolls, they’ll come and seize your TV
what brand HDTV?
I’m looking to get something and went to Circuit City/Best Buy but can’t say I made up my mind. I definately want an LCD TV even though Plasma’s picture is much better, at least in the store

Haha.. it’s a Panasonic plasma. It was on sale at Best Buy when we got it and the picture is amazing… but you said you didn’t want a plasma so idk.. lol

I am sorry, I didn’t mean to insult your plasma TV, send it my apologies …
Well I do like plasma, it has a very good picture that’s for sure, but I have issues with it in terms of life-span and those burn-in issues. I work at home and this thing would be working almost all day long well into the evening so I want something that won’t fade in like 2 weeks
What model is it?

admin, if you want a great HD pic but don’t want to spend thousands, check out the HD Tube TVs (CRTs).
They’re big and heavy and they only go up to about 36″ or so, but the picture is superior to any LCD or plasma and they’re less than half the price.
BTW, a separate HD tuner starts at around $200-$250 and goes up into the thousands for units with hard drives for recording.

I know but I’d rather wait than buy a CRT
They’re huge, and heavy as you said

BTW, sorry to highjack the thread. The Tube Music Television is a blast to watch. Makes me feel 18 years old again, like in the old days of MTV. Caught me some good oldies as well as several that I missed or never saw. They even play mixed battle videos (such as blondie vs the doors). Great channel. I get it through my integrated high def tuner and a 75 Ohm cable that I use as an off-air antenna.
