Word is Robbin Simmons is returning to WSVN to her old job, anchor of weekend morning news - Today in Florida Saturday Edition. She left in 2004 for Detroit where she anchored the main news but a tipster says she was recently seen at WSVN with the news director.
Update 5/2/07: It’s official Robbin Simmons is coming back to WSVN look for her soon on the anchor desk
One tipster says WFOR is abandoning the if it bleeds it leads.
No more details but if true it should be an interesting development to watch whether it helps or hurts them.
WPLG supposedly have decreased the junk in their newscasts, I haven’t watched enough to tell, but it seemed like they did whenever I tuned them in.
