When WSVN decided to put Geraldo at 4:30pm after the 4 o’clock news I said he wouldn’t last and well … it’s just been announced Geraldo at Large is fading into the TV blackhole.
The reasons for the flop?
Most stations air At Large after 11:30pm. Soft ad marketplace, lack of good lead-ins and … too small and too old audience, duh, that didn’t justify “hefty production budget”
My prediction – 7News at 4pm will be one hour long, just like in Boston

I just find Mr. Rivera very annoying. I think they should put him back on the 11 pm slot. Thats when no one listens to him!
Well, anyways, I was watching switching channels while the Apprentice was on commercial. I put on MY TV Network, they were the only ones doing the news. I switched in while weather was on. You will never guess who I saw on there. Tom Johnston. I was like, wow! I never thought he would work in Miami again, after the incident with Jonathan. But yeah, just bringing that to your attention!

Geraldo was actually beating Katie Couric in NYC. Not sure about his ratings here. But they were ok in places where he aired before sunset. They cancelled his showing to open up a slot for TMZ.com show….thats what we need; another Paris/Britney/Nicole/Lindsay show that features “legal issues” and paparazzi video. yuck. Any word on whether WSVN will air MORNING SHOW with MIKE AND JULIET? I love their chemistry
