Embattled WHDH GM Resigns; Accepts Plea Deal

Embattled WHDH VP/GM Randi Goldklank has resigned. Goldklank was arrested on April 20 at Logan Airport in Boston for disorderly conduct and hitting police officer.
Goldklank appeared in court this morning but didn’t answer questions from the media, instead her lawyer read a short statement on her behalf announcing her resignation. She also wrote letters of apology to the police officers.
“I’ve decided to resign my position at WHDH and WLVI to continue focusing on getting help,” Eisenstadt said, reading from the statement. “I appreciate the support I have received from [Channel 7 owner] Ed Ansin and my friends and colleagues at WHDH and WLVI. I look forward to returning to work in the broadcasting industry in the near future.”
As part of Goldklank’s plea deal her cases were continued without a finding meaning if she stays out of trouble for one year all charges will be dropped. The third charge of assault and battery on a police officer was dropped today as well.
Randi Goldklank was arrested on April 20 after she allegedly went into a drunken tirade. According to the police report she told the troopers:
“I’m a big shot in Boston, and I’ll have your [fucking] jobs. You think you’re a [fucking] tough guy, you just watch and see what the [fuck] happens to you when I get the [fuck] out of here.”
Later according to the report her demeanor changed:
After a few minutes she leaned toward Sergeant Luce and stated, `You think I’m cute and I think you’re cute, just drive me home.
Initially Goldklank claimed a passenger sitting beside her touched her inappropriately but that was never substantiated as there was no mention of such incident in the police report and no complaints were filed with the State Police.
An alcohol influence report says that troopers overheard Goldklank tell paramedicstending to her that she “had about three dozen drinks” that she had been taking Lexapro, an antidepressant, because her mother had recently died.
WHDH responded by putting Goldklank on administrative leave.

I am sure it was not her decision to “resign”. Since everything that was reported is now true, the witch got what she deserved.
Bet she winds up somewhere in Miami.

Fins. I hope you feel good about yourself. You’re the type of coward who beats soemone when they’re already on the ground. She accepted the plea deal and she’s facing the conseqences for her actions. We all make mistakes in life. Loser.

No Gables,
You are an apologist for a woman who used her power is one of the most arrogant and elitist ways possible. She threatened law enforcement officers and others who were simply doing their job.
Yes we all make mistakes Gables, only a simple minded clod like you would make such an obvious statement. But not all of us would do what that woman did and then make up some lie to not take the blame.
