WPEC Joins The App Fray; Bribes You For a Download

Palm Beach CBS affiliate WPEC joined the news app fray as well this week. The station released its free news apps for the iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows smartphone platforms all in one go. And apparently they’re also going to have an app for Palm’s webOS very soon!

Also, anyone who texts CBS12APP to 56654 or go to CBS12.com/mobile and downloads the app will get a chance at winning a Bahamas Cruise on Celebration Cruise Line from Palm Beach!

    Not only that, but they demo’ed the app on a jailbroken iPhone on air.
