What happened to Michael Smith (weekend weather on WPLG)? He disappeared and Betty Davis (formerly of The Weather Channel) took his place. Can’t find any comment about this and WPLG site does not have Betty Davis’ bio. It still has Michael Smith’s bio. Thanks.
It appears John Guaraldi is the odd man out. Michael Smith has shifted to John’s old shift – weekend evenings. But WPLG has still not updated the website. Guaraldi is still there and Betty Davis is still missing.
Nobody’s talking about John, but his Local 10 facebook page hasn’t been updated since September.

There seems to be a mass exodus from NBC 2, WBBH in Fort Myers. I hear many people are leaving without other jobs to go to. A half a dozen more are leaving in the next month. Any idea what is going on there? I see so many new faces? I hear it’s management issues. This is sad to hear.
