As we mentioned earlier WPLG morning meteorologist Megan Glaros has signed with WCBS to be their weekend meteorologist and entertainment reporter during on weekdays.
Her last day at WPLG is tomorrow, Friday April 18th, she’ll join WCBS sometime before May sweeps which begin April 24th.
Scott Padgett is her replacement and his first day on the air at WPLG will be Monday. Most recently Padgett was the chief meteorologist at KOKH the Fox affiliate in Oklahoma City

I know everyone is talking about Megan leaving. But did anyone hear that John Morales, the chief weather guesser at Telemundo walked out and quit last Friday? They couldn’t come to a new contract agreement so he’s gone.

To add to my previous post, I just read an article from El Diario de las Americas and John is leaving Telemundo to work on his company called ClimaData. He might serve as a hurricane specialist during the Hurricane season similar to Bryan Norcross role on CBS4.
