Some of you didn’t believe the 7Newsplex is getting re-done, but it is true. Just for the sake of it, I asked someone else, and this person would know for sure. Guaranteed.
WHDH is currently getting their newsplex refreshed. That started last week, and supposedly it would take 3 weeks. After they are done, the Deco Drive set is next, then the WSVN Newsplex. Plans for the newsplex are still in development, no info yet when everything is expected to come together

WSVN has made the switch from BetacamSP to BetacamSX. They’ve purchased 26 brand spanking new Sony DNW – 9 SX camcorders complete with accessories for their news department. The move is part of 7′s $10 million dollar investment to switch to digital. Speaking of money, the average price a Sony DNW – 9 SX retails for is around $33,000 to as high as $48,000.
