Sports guys: who can do it and who can’t

The Herald has come up with it’s own scorecard on how the local sports guys are doing.
In short:
4 is ok for having “ancillary programming” all year long.

Channel 6 is allright, just get those “wandering sportsanchors” off the screen.

7 does good for having Rosenhaus around, but Steve Shapiro should lower the decibels (while we’re at the request line, can we have him anchor in shorts too? Please!). New guy Rod Burks is too nervous they say - gave the baseball scores in reverse (hey maybe he’s just dyslexic).

10’s Jimmy Cefalo is Mr. Smooth, big score for hiring the charismatic John Henry Smith and Will Manso is “versatile” (really? :wassat:)

Spy report

The bestest spy in local tv has informed me that Dwight Lauderdale is going to be paired with Wendy Corona pretty soon, the new gal Neki that’s coming soon will be doing the mornings with Mark Schumaher.
WSVN’s weekend morning and substitute weather girl Kate Wentzel is leaving in 3 weeks to join a station in Santa Barbara as a chief meteorologist. Two scores for the left coast.

Also, big sized mugshot of the Trend Tracker girl, which I’m still pondering if I want to post or not.

Ciao

Arrested Trend Tracker

Party gal Tara Gilani also known in this town as the Trend Tracker has been arrested on DUI charges this past Sunda (6/20) after driving erratically on State Road 836. She got pulled over by cops and as luck would have it a motorcyclist slammed in her car missing her by just feet. She was booked into jail and later released on a $1500 cash bond. No word yet if she was tracking any trends in the latest alcohol tastes

Coming Up! New weatherchick at WPLG.

Our speacial secretive embeds are reporting that soon some male (and female) South Florida viewers will have another reason to watch local TV. Weather gal Neki Mohan currently from CBS19 Action News in Cleveland, Ohio is coming to WPLG to assume the same role of weather gal. Don’t know which slot they’ll fit her in yet just watch WPLG, they need you anwyays

I have no DVR nor is my PC hooked up to the cables therefore I can’t record.

When will there be updates?

Whenever the fat lady stops singing or whatever. Couple weeks maybe? I dont know yet.

Cable ratings and how they really stack up

Ok, most people are fixated on the fact that FOXNews’ viewers stick around longer and thus FNC has more viewers reported. But CNN has more unique total viewers.
I guess it’s kind of like the Internet. You want as many people as possible to come to your site, see your ads and buy something hense why CNN commands more money from advertisers. Traffic. CNN’s got it and lots of it.
In May 61,000,000 people watched CNN vs FNC’s 53.5 million.
In addition FNC has more audience erosion than CNN or MSNBC
