7news gets on the blogwagon

It’s such a fad with newsies to blog from the DNC, everyone’s doing it.
7News sent Patrick Frasier and gave him a whole page on wsvn.com “Politics with Patrick”. So far they’re the only local news outlet to do it, that I know of.
They should have done like CNN and allow other staffers to chime in and write up something. And pictures and videos people, give us pictures and videos from BEHIND the scenes. You know stir it up some and make it fun

Politics with patrick

And please next time you tease us on TV about some woman you can’t show us because the FCC would get pissed, and how we have to go online to your site at least post a damn picture or send it to me and I’ll post it if you’re so scared of showing some chica with skirt talking about bushes and such things

New stuff

New design and videos are being added tonight
I probably won’t manage to cram everything I wanted into one update so I’ll go at it slow
Comments questions welcomed, email me

Update

I spent lots of time today chopping some recordings up from last night.
It turned out pretty good as I was able to get lots of fresh stuff from NBC6 including – breaking news, developing story, traffic & weather, decision 2004, decision 2004 promo with Brian Williams Tony Segretto and Jackie Nespral, morning open and others. In all 23 new clips to be posted, give or take a couple of repeats here and there plus a couple of antics from that stud muffin-lame-joker Lonnie Quinn. Why does he keep looking at the ceiling for traffic reporter Karen Curtis? Have they ran out of space over there and put her in the attic? And please someone tell him, the builders aren’t “building dirt”.
Then there’s WFOR and the 40 brand spanking new vids, take a few away for repeating that are sittin, chillin, getting ripe and ready for upload.
The only one left is WPLG and I’ll get to them eventually.
The updates will begin asap and will most likely be one station at a time as I have other things to do that actually pay me money believe it or not.

ATTENTION! WFOR EMPLOYEES!
If any of you read this, and I know you do k? so don’t just sit there and pretend you don’t I have evidence, be so nice please and send me a good shot of the newsroom, preferably larger size, something like 800 pixels long, just no flashing or any stuff like these as I plan to use it publically unless you want to be the talk of the town. Another WSVN departure

Awww say it ain’t so. Hot, hunky, beefy [and very talented of course] stud Andre Hepkins is leaving 7News very soon. :(
What a bummer. If recent hires are any indication there might be another looker ont he way to replace him, hopefully.
Best of luck to Andre

Diana Diaz off Deco

Diana Diaz has been removed from Deco Drive and replaced by Louis Aguirre. My embeds are saying the move was prompted because of low ratings and bad chemistry with Lynn Martinez. She’s back to doing weekend morning news and will be replacing whoever leaves the morning news show

WSVN owns 25-54 demo in all news time slots during May sweeps!

WSVN ranked #1 in 25-54 viewer demo in all news time slots (5-9am, 12-1pm, 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm, 10-11pm, 11pm-11:30pm) making it their first accross the board win.

WFOR stuff

Looking thru my recordings now and saw I was able to catch some exciting new promos from CBS4 – Every story, Everywhere, Everyday.
Also the new promos from 7News – News at the speed of 7.
Expect a video update soon!
