Most requested file is June 2001 7News at 11pm openning sequence video. Loresca on 7

Elita Loresca has debuted on 7, must have been on Monday while I was into a coma sleep as usual.
I have to say my first impressions of her are nice. Make that hot. She’s got the great looks, awesome name, pretty good delivery save for a few stumbles over words, here’s a couple of caps. Don’t know if she’s in the morning talent promo yet

New weather gal on 7 mornings

I guess Elita has made it to the air on 7News mornings? I’m deep asleep at that time so I have no way of knowing, but I did see her face on the latest 7news weather promo, so she must be there or something

Shut up NBC

What is the point of the closing ceremonies if we’re not going to be able to enjoy them in whole? These NBC talkingheads keep yapping as the show goes on, not only that but they opt to show their lame ass interviews while the show’s going on and then instead of going back they throw commercial. Absolutely ridiculos, and so are the olympic moments. Am I watching NBC’s overpaid-for commercials or the show? Guess 30 seconds of show and 2 minutes of commercials are what NBC’s version of events is. Shut up and get Sakis and Despina back on you idiots! I knew there was another reason I didn’t watch NBC besides boring, stupid. Back to 7News

Latest insider info

WPLG’s Will Manso has been removed from the 5:30pm newscast and is being tried on mornings and weekends shifts, apparently the suits at 10 have found something to be unhappy about. And according to my insider Manso was slated to be the replacement for Dwight Lauderdale
I lied yesterday (not on purpose I promise) when I said Jawan Strader was to join UPN33 soon, in fact he already has made his on-air debut last night. Watch this space for image caps and possibly a video tonight at 10, if I don’t wander off and forget
Also, you know how Lynn Martinez was missing in action for 2 weeks? Well it could have been because she had a boob job done and needed some downtime. At least that’s what I am being told. I have noticed she’s looking like a hot mamma recently and good for her

Of course as always a big thanks goes out to one of my good tipsters who alerted me to all this info.

This website is not affiliated with any TV station
Some people seem to think I work for whichever local TV station and keep sending emails telling me about their smelly feet, lost dogs and general disdain with local government or whatever. I’ve said it before I will say it again, I do not work for any local TV station, the local stations have no connection with me whatsoever and do not endorse what I say, I am not involved in the TV business, I’m not a journalist, never have been and don’t aspire to be one. This site is what it is - a place to show off local stations’ on air presence in terms of graphics, mixed in with news about them and the occasional rant from myself.

Restraining order stands

The restraining order against a woman accused of stalking WPLG anchor Kristy Krueger is staying, for now. The judge has refused to lift the restraining order imposed on Georgia Roberts since 2001 untill after the criminal case against her has concluded

Off to war

The channel is Discovery (Discovery Times) the program is Off To War. It follows Arkansas National Guard unit transfered to Iraq. For anyone who still hasn’t gotten it thru their thick scull that what you see on TV is not a game or a movie, but a real fucked up situation that actually involves real people - either someone’s son, dad, brother who go there not because they want to but because they had to. It’s the story of those who bit on the National Guard’s “1 weekend a month 2 weeks a year” sales pitch only to be sent half a world away to find their death. It’s quite moving, and it’s not narrated, the soldiers speak for themselves
