I think they debuted this today. It’s pretty awesome and sleek, and red color everywhere. The theme, as every other time, is different “See It On 7″ with the slogan “Your city, your world, your life, your news station”.
It is very fast paced, the music is great almost rock’n roll-ish with techo elements. There are shots from downtown Miami, and 7News ENG vans driving around as if being chased by someone.
Chrome text on red background with black tones is everywhere. There is a really cool twist to the 7 logo. It’s 3D and made to blend into the background. The ring around the 7 brakes into pieces with the 7 inside rotating then reasembles itself. Nifty.
What’s with UPN33 and not playing the new gfx package?
The open a while ago was the old one, while the teaser for the news and lower 3rds are all new? They have fixed the loop in the right side of the L3.
Another annoying thing is these circles emanating from the UPN logo bug
when the L3 graphic wipes awayevery 5 seconds. Very annoying!The bug itself is ugly. Not sure if it’s my reception, bad as it via cable, but it looks like the 33 is on a magenta background with black UPN logo next to it … distracting even more so than the little circles.
The open looks pretty sharp though, huge improvement over the ugly yellow they had previously
