7′s sat center tweaked

When in doubt fiddle with it. That’s what the powers that be are doing with the satelite center. Someone emailed to say they’ve gotten a bigger TV screen. Twice as big. They are so reading this blog :D

Also, the chroma key/green wall was moved and on it’s place they’re building what “looks like a standup area for talent”.

They probably are, in the renderings of the newsplex I saw there’s an area that will look like similar to what the WHDH has to the left of the anchor desk with a huge screen, probably projection and some round tables in the middle that look like mushrooms with flat tops.

On another note, live video on WSVN.com is back so feel free to go and use their bandwith.

If I don’t forget I might post some screenshots of the tweaked satellite center tonight.

That CBS4 video is like everywhere

Yeah I’m talkin’ about that police investigation thing. If that cop who’s suing CBS4 thinks the judge will save his snarky ass from being seen acting like … ummm … asshole maybe? /no pun inteded, really/ he can just forget about it.

In the last few days I’ve come accross a lot of blogs linking to the story, Consumerist being the latest I came accross, proves you can tell CBS4 to shut up but that doesn’t work on the internets. There are quite a few other blogs linking to the video, too bad it’s not on YouTube or Bittorent yet

Guess it’s safe to say Mr. Cop is now world famous. Maybe he can join Comcast for that “ruin your reputation faster” ad for their high speed internet. See here if you haven’t seen the ad

New face coming to CBS4 mornings

NewsBlues reporting WFOR has found a replacement for Susan Barnett who left for KYW CBS in Philly. His name is Jorge Estevez currently anchoring weekend mornings on WFTV, the ABC affiliate in Orlando. He’ll probably start soon, definitly before May sweeps

Laurie Jennings and husband Josh proud parents of two boys

As of Sunday night Laurie and her husband Josh are mom and dad :)

Laurie and her husband Josh are the new parents of twin boys named Luke and Jake. The babies were born weighing a pound and a half each on Sunday night and were in critical condition for the first 72 hours. Doctors say the boys are now doing very well at this point despite being so small and coming so early. All of the tests are showing positive results. Laurie says the twins will most likely spend the next three months in the hospital. Laurie sounds great. She says her boys are very handsome and she's looking forward to letting us see pictures at some point in the near future.Laurie can't take phone calls in the neo natal intensive care unit, but says if you want to send her a message, you can email her on her outlook email address and the messages will be forwarded
