Mark Joyella is returning to WPLG. He left in 2003 to join WNYW but as of January 2007 the station didn’t renew his contract.
His first day on the air at WPLG is December 3rd.

I remember him as a general assignment reporter…Did a pretty decent job if I remember correctly.

This guy is GREAT — here in NYC we are sad to lose him. He is truly hilarious and also an excellent newsman. Your gain is our loss. ( found this site as I’m looking for where the heck he is now — not on my early morning tv anymore obviously & I miss him!)

Didn’t Mark Joyella work at WTVD 11 in Raleigh-Durham back in the early 90s?
