MediaWeek had a blurb on the new UPN33 News morning show, and their recent expansion from a half hour 10pm newscast to 1 hour, noting that the recently debuted UPN33 News This Morning has the dismal average rating of 0.4 points 1 share vs WSVN’s 4.6 pt/15 share. For reference 1 ratings point equals 15496 households

Delaine will be replaced by Diana Diaz, when they took her off of Deco Drive she was promiced the morning slot when Delaine leaves, hence why you saw her today doing news updates. The male slot has not yet been filled, it’s looks like it’s going to be between Richard Lemus and Charles Billi. As for where Delaine is going, I have no idea and I am told it isn’t known yet. If it’s to a local station she’ll have to sit out at least 5-6 months non-compete so we won’t see her on the air immediately. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s just taking a break and having some time to herself, getting up at 3:30am every morning for so long is bound to make anybody tired especially considering you don’t really have much of a life having to go to bed at 7-8pm every night. If and when I learn about where she’s heading next I’ll post

She IS leaving WSVN, in the next couple of weeks, hasn’t left already as I was told earlier. And it is likely that she’s not going to WPLG
