Ooooh shit, NBC has been indecent

0

Someone needs to go to the cooler. NBC is facing an indecency complaint over what Dale Earnhardt Jr said after he wo the NASCAR race. Precisely the word shit. Parents Television Council is getting ready to file a formal complaint against NBC saying “NASCAR has a huge family audience, including a bunch of kids watching,”. As the saying goes “Give the dog a bone, it will bite your whole hand”, the PTC apparently feels every little thing needs to be censored. Maybe they should change their name to Sanitize and Protect and buy some uniforms and whips

After the diagnoze she and her husband used a home camera to document her experience as she went thru a double mastectomy (the procedure to remove both breasts) just a week after the diagnoze, and then chemo therapy, her dealing with the hair loss. The series started Monday airing at 5pm and 11pm, last episode being tomorrow. Brave girl

WSVN picks debate over game

The Sun Sentinel is musing about WSVN picking up the VP debate last night instead of keeping the baseball game, what’s so surprising about it anyways? It’s 7News they do what they want, regardless of what the FOX network wants, and besides don’t we already pay premium to have ESPN and FOX Sports crammed into the channel line up to begin with? I say tune the sports channel and stop whining. WPXM PAX25 picked up the game, and WFLX FOX29 in Palm Beach went with the game but considering they’re not a real news operation it’s really not a big surprise

Broward baseball fans owe one to Pax.

WSVN-Ch. 7 has elected to pre-empt Fox’s coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs tonight. Instead of Twins vs. Yankees, the Miami-Fort Lauderdale Fox affiliate will carry the vice presidential debate between Dick Cheney and John Edwards, which will be airing on more than a half-dozen other channels, broadcast and cable.

There was a time Monday when it seemed the Yankees and Twins would not be available in Broward. However, Fox shopped the game around and WPXM-Ch. 35, the market’s Pax affiliate, stepped up and agreed to take the game.

WFLX-Ch. 29, the Fox affiliate in Palm Beach, never wavered in deciding to stick with

It debuted on September 20th and I’ve completely forgotten about it. Actually not really completely I did remember it I just keep forgetting to tune it in and see what’s it about. Hopefully tomorrow I will remember to check it out and get some video and screen grabs. There’s way too much shit going on around me, too much, think I need a hot college intern to help me out or something.
