Rob Schmitt Arrest Update: Case Dismissed
An update to Rob Schmitt’s arrest. Case dismissed due to lack of sufficient evidence, if I understand the terminology correctly.
His bond was discharged, the pre-trial canceled. He was charged with a misdemeanor but court records show the case was dismissed with “No action”.
An internet search shows the no action dismissal to mean the State had no evidence (or not enough) to pursue charges, but the case may be reopened later even if person commits a prosecutable act.
/hat tip to brian for fishing the info out of court records/
