WPBF Reporter Randy Gyllenhaal Helps Rescue a Kitten

WPBF News 25 kitten rescue Randy Gyllenhaal

While on a story about a kitten stuck in a storm drain in Delray Beach, WPBF reporter Randy Gyllenhaal got down and dirty and helped rescue the little guy.

WPBF viewer Bruce Hyndman heard the kitten’s cries coming from a storm drain for several days. When the fire department couldn’t locate the cat on Friday, Hyndman decided to go it alone on Saturday and called WPBF. A large chain to make noise and Gyllenhaal waiting on the other end of the drain scared the little guy right into his hands

WPBF newsroom employees will help foster the kitten for a few days while they look for someone to adopt it. You can contact rgyllenhaal@hearst.com or @WPBF_Randy if you want to adopt the kitten
