Suncoast Emmy Awards Nominees Announced


The 2012 Suncoast Emmy Awards nominees were announced today. All in all South Florida stations who submitted videos for consideration grabbed a sizable amount of nominations. WFOR has the most nominations out of the big four stations with 26 nominated entrees, while WJAN is leading among Spanish stations with 31 nominations.

The 2012 Suncoast Emmy Awards will be held on December 1st at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood.

WFOR – 26 nominations
WTVJ – 13 nominations
WSVN – 9 nominations
WPLG – 16 nominations
WLRN – 4 nominations
WSCV – 25 nominations
WLTV – 13 nominations
WJAN – 31 nominations

West Palm Beach TV stations
WPTV – 14 nominations
WPEC – 1 nomination
WPBF – none/or did not participate

  1. I hope the morning team from CBS doesn’t get anything since they ran Jawan Strader off unless it is Jawan getting an Emmy. Rhiannon and Josh suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Rhiannon and Jose are amazing. They are the best anchor team in town. The Miami herald is doing an article about them next week, describing how ratings are through the roof and the network is looking to use them on the weekend Early Sow. Go CBS4. Top dog in Miami. I can see Josh at the network within a few months anchoring when Scott Pelley is sick.
